Friendship woman in custody following traffic stop

ADAMS – A Friendship woman is in jail following a traffic stop in the city of Adams.
On the morning of April 21, Calsey Menard, 28, of Friendship, was arrested for an active Department of Corrections (DOC) warrant during a traffic stop.
Calsey was transported to the Adams County Jail and was later found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Charges of possession or attempted possession of methamphetamine are being requested through the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.
No further information is being released at this time.
