Be our guest: Celebrate Provider Appreciation Day on May 8

Thank you early childhood professionals for your dedication, commitment, and compassion. We appreciate you. Early childhood professionals are more than essential.

COVID-19 has created a lot of questions for Early Childhood Professionals like:  Do I have the cleaning supplies I need to prepare a healthy environment for the children in my care?  Should I/my employees wear masks?  Can I afford to stay open?  Some providers have been staying open to help the families of essential workers who need temporary care during this time of need.  The regulated programs that do make the choice to temporarily close, also face stressors like not knowing if they will be able to pay the bills during this time of closure.

Many child care providers go above and beyond for the children and families in their care. They think of the children in their care like extended family.  They are passionate about helping children and making a difference in their lives.  They know that nurturing and responsive early care and education provides a solid foundation for children’s ongoing success.

Please help show your appreciation for these amazing professionals. Go to @ChildcaringInc on Facebook to comment on the Childcaring “Show Provider Appreciation” FB post. Comment with a thank you, or if you are an Early Childhood Professional, comment about what you enjoy about providing child care. You can also nominate a regulated child care provider to win a gift card. All regulated child care providers in our service area are eligible to win.

We know that for our economy to recover, parents will need quality child care. Families want to know that their children are with someone they can trust and in a safe, healthy, learning environment.  If early childhood professionals are not supported, there will be many less child care options for families.

Let’s make sure to celebrate and support Early Childhood Professionals all year long, but especially on May 8!   We are all in this together.  Call Childcaring at 1.800.628.8534 or visit our website Childcaring.org for child care referrals and resources.

Thank you early childhood professionals for nurturing and supporting our youngest learners.
