Grand Rapids municipal building to open June 1

TOWN OF GRAND RAPIDS – The town of Grand Rapids will reopen their municipal building, located at 2410 48th St. South, on June 1, with regular hours Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. – noon.
“We will continue to follow CDC and Wood County Health Department guidelines to protect both our staff and all visitors, and continue to ask that people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms stay at home. We also continue to ask that all services that can be conducted through use of email, phone and mail to be handled that way,” a release from town officials said.
As a reminder, many license and permit applications can be accessed on the town’s website at https://townofgrandrapids.org and or by email at [email protected]. For other information or business options, call 715-424-1821 or use the secure outside drop box.
“To mitigate risks related to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitors to the Town Hall will be expected to follow safe physical distancing guidelines at all times and asked to wear a mask. If you can, please bring a mask with you. Additionally, there will be a supply of masks available inside the entrance to the building along with hand sanitizers,” the release stated.
