For the Gazette
PLOVER – The Central Wisconsin Racing Association (CWRA) Stars to Legends Tour will make an appearance at the Golden Sands Speedway, Plover, on June 19.
For the CWRA, Super Late Model Stock Car Racing group, it will be the first and only appearance, in 2020, at the high banked 1/3 mile paved oval.
The tour will feature upwards of 20 cars racing on the night, including two-time, defending season champion Jeff Weinfurter, Wisconsin Rapids. Weinfurter won in main event competition racing with CWRA in 2019 at the track, and will be considered a favorite during the evenings racing.

Minnesota and Michigan will be represented in the field with Paul Paine, Mound, MN, and Putch Bentley, Iron River, MI. Top Rookie contender, Dave Satorious, Appleton, will also race.
The evening of CWRA racing will be topped off with two, fast and furious 30-lap Feature events. Other divisions racing on the evenings card, include: Super Stocks, 4-Cylinder Stocks, 4-Cylinder Mods, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Bandoleros.
