WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Dr. Amanda Gaccetta, DO, FACOG has joined Aspirus staff at the Wisconsin Rapids clinics. As an obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN), Dr. Gaccetta cares for women at Aspirus Doctors Clinic and Aspirus Riverview Clinic.

Gaccetta was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, the daughter of current Wisconsin Rapids residents David and Martha Mann. She graduated from Victory Christian School and attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. After meeting her husband, Dominic, she transferred to the University of North Texas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish.

Gaccetta earned a doctor of osteopathy degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.

She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and holds certificates in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, neonatal resuscitation, basic life support, and advanced cardiac life support.

Most recently, Gaccetta served in the U.S. Army as department chief at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Since early 2018, she has provided part-time support during her military leaves to the Aspirus OB/GYN team in Wisconsin Rapids. With her successful military career complete, Gaccetta said she is excited to return to central Wisconsin with her husband and three children.

“My goal is to improve the health of women throughout central Wisconsin by providing comprehensive, compassionate obstetric and gynecologic care,” she said.
