Two Assumption athletes sign letters of intent

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Two seniors signed letters of intent during a softball/baseball senior night/signing night for Assumption High School, held July 21 at Robinson Park.

Maddy Bohn

Maddy has earned 10 varsity letters during her time at Assumption –three in volleyball, four in softball, and three in basketball.

In Maddy’s sophomore year, she was recognized as Second Team All-Conference in basketball. In her junior year, she earned Second Team All-Conference in softball and was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection in basketball.

In her senior year, she was recognized as Honorable Mention All-Conference in volleyball and was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection in basketball. She was also selected as one of Assumption’s two “Outstanding Female Athlete Award” winners.

Maddy has chosen to further her academics and her basketball career at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. She is the daughter of Dan Bohn and Jill Wolfe.

Kendall has earned seven varsity letters during her time at Assumption –three in volleyball and four in softball.

As a freshman, she was recognized by Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association as Honorable Mention All-District, and she was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection in softball. She was also a Marawood Scholar Athlete. As a sophomore, she was recognized by WFSCA as Second Team All-State and First Team All-District. She was awarded Marawood South Conference Player of the Year and received a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection. She was also named a Marawood Scholar Athlete

In her junior year, she was recognized as Honorable Mention All-Conference in volleyball. In softball, she was recognized by WFSCA as First Team All-District. For the second year in a row, she was awarded Marawood South Conference Player of the Year and received a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection. She was also named a Marawood Scholar Athlete

In her senior year, she was recognized as Honorable Mention All-Conference in volleyball. The WFSCA recognized Kendall as Academic All State, as well as a Senior All Star Selection in softball. The WIAA recognized Kendall as Assumption’s Statewide Scholar Athlete Nominee, and she was named a Marawood Scholar Athlete. She was also selected as one of Assumption’s two “Outstanding Female Athlete Award” winners.

Kendall has chosen to further her academics and her softball career at the University of St. Thomas. She is the daughter of Rob and Linda Schill.
