Central Wisconsin BMX Racing Under the Lights is Aug. 22

WAUSAU – On Aug. 22, Badger State Games athletes will be BMX racing “Under the Lights,” at the home of the Central Wisconsin BMX club.
This upcoming race is part of a five race BMX Summer Series of racing around Wisconsin. This is the third year of the BMX Series and partnership with Wisconsin BMX and USA BMX.
Registration runs 6:30-7:30 p.m., with Racing Under the Lights to start around 8 p.m.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be award in over 25 expected “motos.”
A special exhibition race for BMX Senior Division, athletes of 30 years of age and older, is expected be a crowd favorite.
“COVID-19 precautions will be in place but because of the outdoor venue masks are not required but encouraged,” a Badger State release said.
Competition will be held at Central Wisconsin BMX, 2220 E. Riverview Expy, Wisconsin Rapids.
Badger State Games events are hosted in various cities and towns around the state of Wisconsin.
