Arpin man dies in car crash

WOOD COUNTY – An Arpin man is dead following an Oct. 18 car crash. The accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Richfield Drive in the town of Arpin.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Kevin Follen, 58, was going west on Richfield Drive when his vehicle left the road, struck a tree, and overturned. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies were dispatched after the sheriff’s office received a call of a vehicle fire near 6630 Richfield Drive.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Arpin Fire, Pittsville ambulance, and Life Link III.
