Community Thanksgiving Dinner moves to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – After two decades of hosting the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, the meal will move from St. Luke’s Lutheran Church to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 311 14th Ave. South, Wisconsin Rapids.
“It has been a Thanksgiving tradition for 20 years now; it’s offered to those who may physically not be able to fix a meal or financially unable, or those that just enjoyed the fellowship. Unfortunately this year, due to pandemic, takeout will put a damper on that,” said Nicole Sukow, who chairs the event with Michelle Gear.
“We will serve the public; there is no need for any church affiliation to come. This year there is only takeout and delivery, due to the pandemic,” Sukow explained.
The meal will be offered on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reservations may be made Nov. 9-17, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., by calling 715-600-3560.
