WISCONSIN RAPIDS – On Nov. 18, WFHR AM 1320 will be lending its air waves to United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties for its 16th Annual Radiothon.  United Way staff and volunteers will be promoting the 2020 Campaign, taking donations and promoting the $1,000 Sweepstakes.

During the Radiothon listeners will have the opportunity to call in and make a pledge; they can also have it announced live on the air.

The Radiothon will take place between the hours of 9-10:30 a.m. during the Morning Hour with James.  Listeners who would like to make a pledge during Radiothon can tune into AM 1320, call 715-424-1300 and speak to a Radiothon operator.

“Donating to a good cause in honor of a loved one has become a real trend in the past several years,” said Tari Jahns, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties CEO.  “Radiothon is a perfect opportunity to do just that and announce it to the whole world.”
