NEKOOSA – Nekoosa’s Hometown Christmas celebration kicked off with a Virtual Vendor Fair. Participants can shop through a discussion tab at www.facebook.com/events/1021745631663206.

On Dec. 5, activities featured a reverse parade, fireworks, and the lighting of the Nekoosa Drive-Thru Lighting Display at Riverside Park, on Prospect Avenue. The park is lit with 40 displays from dusk until dawn until Jan. 1.

This year the holiday events also feature a Let It Glow competition, with businesses and residences decked out in holiday displays. A map of participating addresses is located at www.facebook.com/howcoc/photos/3428148307266980.
