Lincoln High School evacuated

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids was evacuated the afternoon of April 26, after students observed and reported a “possible non-specific threat.”
The evacuation was called a precautionary measure by the district. There is an investigation into the incident with the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department at this time.
Students who rode buses were dismissed at 2:50 p.m. Parents who pick up their students were told to find them at the South Wood County Hockey Rink. Students who walked, rode a bike, or drove themselves were dismissed from the hockey rink at 3:20 p.m.
