Two injured in Adams County stabbing incident

ADAMS COUNTY – On June 25, Adams County deputies were called to the 1100 block of Fawn Court in the town of Springville, for the report of a stabbing.
“On June 25, at approximately 7:43 a.m., the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a person who stated they had been stabbed,” a release from Adams County Sheriff Brent York stated.
“Additional information indicated a second person also sustained a stab wound. Upon arrival of deputies two subjects were identified and known to each other and they each had sustained a stab wound. The two subjects are being treated for their injuries.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and the public is believed to not be in danger.”
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Lifestar Ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation. No further information is being released at this time.
