Four injured in Wood County crash

WOOD COUNTY – Four people were injured in a town of Saratoga crash.
On Aug, 28, shortly after 10 a.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 13 and State Highway 73.
“A southbound vehicle on STH 13 collided with an eastbound vehicle on STH 73 at the intersection. Travel at the intersection was passable but limited for nearly two hours,” a department release stated.
“Two of the occupants have non-life-threatening injuries and the other two occupant’s conditions are unknown at this time. Life-Link Helicopter flew one of the occupants from the scene.”
Those involved were later identified as: Bernard Settlemyer, 81, Hancock; Roxane David, 58, Saratoga; Patricia Kedrowski, 70, Stevens Point; and Laura Sniadajewski, 62, of Stevens Point.
The sheriff’s department was assisted by Saratoga First Responders, Wood County Rescue, Nekoosa Fire Department, Nekoosa Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department Ambulance, Nekoosa Ambulance, United Ambulance, and Life Link air transport.
The crash remains under investigation. Names have not yet been released.
