Wisconsin Rapids events to honor Veterans Day

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – On Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., a remembrance ceremony is planned to commemorate Veterans Day at Veterans Memorial Park, 112 Second St. South, Wisconsin Rapids.
A Veterans Day ceremony will also be held at the Wood County Veterans Memorial, 400 Market St., Wisconsin Rapids, at 1 p.m. The event will include band music, remarks from a member of the Wood County Veterans Service Office, and a legacy stone ceremony in honor of Vietnam War veterans and Hmong soldiers who assisted the United States.
