WOOD COUNTY – Two Wood County residents have been arrested for drug charges, following the execution of a search warrant in the town of Rudolph.

On March 3, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on Greenfield Avenue.

“A large quantity of suspected methamphetamine was seized at the residence along with suspected THC and drug paraphernalia. Along with the restricted controlled substances a handgun was seized inside the home. Inside the residence three adult individuals were taken into custody and are being held at held Wood County Jail,” a Wood County Sheriff’s department release stated.

“The Wood County Sheriff’s Department takes a strong stance against individuals who sell or possess these types of restricted controlled substances in our community. We will relentlessly continue to investigate individuals who put the citizens in danger.”

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted in this investigation by the Nekoosa Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, and the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force.

Charges referred to the Wood County District Attorney’s office for Joey A. Hale, 30, include: possession with Intent to deliver methamphetamine, maintain a drug trafficking place, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm, and child neglect.

Charges are being requested for Jessica L. Stensberg, 27, for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, maintain a drug trafficking place, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect.
