Road work to begin on WIS 13/WIS 21 intersection
For the City Times
ADAMS COUNTY – Road work will begin at the intersection of WIS 13 and WIS 21 in late May and will last until September.
“Crews will reconstruct the existing intersection. Other improvements include removing and replacing islands, curb and gutter, signing, pavement marking, and intersection rumble strips,” a DOR release stated.
“Additionally, the asphalt at the wayside will be removed and replaced.
“The intersection will remain open to traffic with construction completed in several stages.
The wayside in the southwest area of the intersection will be utilized to maintain through or turning movements restricted at the intersection.”
A 12-foot lane width restriction will be in place on WIS 13 and WIS 21.
Access to businesses, residents, and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Project staff will share construction details, staging, schedule, traffic impacts, and other information on May 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the Village of Friendship Town Hall, 507 W. Lake St., Friendship.
