PORT EDWARDS – For over 60 years the Brush and Palette Club has been a supportive group for local artists. They have exhibited in many different area venues. Early on the group had shows outdoors in various local parks.
The current show, entitled “A Few of Our Favorite Things,” on exhibit at the Alexander House in Port Edwards, includes new work from the members and also some favorites from their archives that haven’t been shown before.
Members include every kind of artist, from the self-taught to professionals. Artwork from many media are included, from the classic oil painter to dress designer.
The exhibit includes: basketry, jewelry, drawings and paintings, mixed media, and fiber arts.
The exhibit will continue through July 12.
