United Way honors supporters at Thank You celebration

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties thanked its many supporters Jan. 11, during the Thank You and Recognition Celebration at Bullseye Golf Club. “We have many things to be thankful for,” said CEO Tari Jahns. “Our donors, our volunteers, and for the caring communities that we live in.” Also thanked and recognized were event sponsors, ERCO Worldwide and United Way Board of Directors.
During the Thank You Celebration, donors were thanked, in particular, those in “Giving Communities”:
Leadership Givers – supporters who give $500 or more; Loyal Contributors – supporters who have been donating for 10 or more years; 365 Small Business Circle – small businesses who donate at least $365 and receive a window-cling to display; Our 2022 Sweepstakes Winners and Sponsors.
Special recognition was given to organizations and businesses who had outstanding United Way campaigns and qualified for an award. The Per Capita Awards recognized organizations with high per capita giving; The Participation Awards go to organizations with high participation rates; The Per Capita and Participation Awards come in three levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Per Capita Gold Awards ($150 or more): Nekoosa Public Schools District Office, Paper City Savings, Paul Gross Jewelers, Solarus, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties
Per Capita Silver Awards ($100 – $149): ERCO Worldwide, Doorworks, Inc., NextHome Partners
Per Capita Bronze Awards ($70 – $99): Prevail Bank, Rapids Ford, LLC, Wisconsin Rapids Family Center, WoodTrust Bank
Participation Gold Awards (95 – 100 percent): Nekoosa Public Schools District Office, NextHome Partners, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties and Wisconsin Rapids Family Center – all with 100 percent participation
Participation Silver Awards (90-94 percent): KeySavings Bank, Paul Gross Jewelers – both with 94 percent participation
