Dr. Christopher Schuetze Recognized as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist
For the City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Roberts Physical Therapy has announced that Dr. Christopher Schuetze, DPT has become Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
This certification recognizes Dr. Schuetze’s advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in the practice of orthopedic physical therapy and in the management of persistent pain. Following a year-long orthopedic residency program, Dr. Schuetze completed an intense application and examination process to earn his OCS from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Nationwide, less than 4 percent of physical therapists go on to earn this advanced certification. Dr. Schuetze is the second Doctor of Physical Therapy with Roberts Physical Therapy to earn this title.
“I looked into the best programs across the country and was excited to find an exceptional program in the Heart of Wisconsin where my wife and I hoped to live,” said Dr. Schuetze. “The orthopedic residency at Roberts Physical Therapy provided training and mentorship by the best clinicians in the state. This has allowed me to confidently treat patients using the best interventions available.”
Dr. Schuetze is a 2015 graduate of Concordia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and a 2011 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He joined the Roberts Physical Therapy practice in July 2015.
