Lambda Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Fall Update

Beta Sigma Phi is a social and charitable women’s organization with chapters throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Judy Spath is president of Lambda Master Chapter which meets twice monthly and has a monthly social, which in September was lunch and a cruise aboard Chief Waupaca. Several fundraising projects throughout the year support donations which are divided among local residents in need and local organizations.
Lambda Master has been designated State Sponsor Chapter in charge of fundraising and raising awareness for Restoring Hope Transplant House in Middleton, which is the Wisconsin Beta Sigma Phi State Project. The Transplant House offers affordable housing near UW Hospital for transplant patients, as well as cancer patients, receiving treatment in the Madison area, and for their adult family members.
A salad luncheon to benefit Restoring Hope Transplant House, Never Forgotten Honor Flight, Jeremiah’s Crossing, and Cancer Patient Fund of Aspirus UW Cancer Center is being held by Lambda Master on Saturday, Nov. 4, at First English Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Tickets may be purchased by Oct. 21 at the church or Daly Drug, 3215 Eighth St. South.
The Wisconsin Beta Sigma Phi State Convention will be held in Appleton, Oct. 6 – 8. A delegation of 10 of the 14 members of Lambda Master will attend.
