Local Youths to Perform Alice in Wonderland

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Follow young thespians down the rabbit hole, as the theater from the Wisconsin Rapids Public School District will perform the classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
The play will feature over 55 children from grades 3-5 to tell the tale of what is considered a timeless classic.
Show description:
“Alice finds herself in a curious situation after falling down a rabbit hole while chasing a huge white rabbit. She now has to find her way home and meets memorable characters along the way, including Tweedledee, Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter.”
“You will hear a lot of familiar music along with a twist on some new music. We can also promise plenty of dancing,” said WRPS Children’s Theater Director Emily Covarrubias. “The show is is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. I promise you will have a fun time in the audience with the array of characters and music.”
Show times are Friday, March 9 at 7PM, Saturday, March 10 at 7PM, and Sunday, March 11 at 2PM. Tickets are available in advanced for only $4 at Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce , WRPS Central Office ( Thomas Lenk Building ) , or the Arts Council.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door. The Performing Arts Center is located at 1801 16th St. South.
