Police & Sheriff Calls for July 13
On Fire: At 1:37 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 1000 block of Hill St. to report that a utility truck had been on fire.
Lost & Found: At 3:33 p.m. a call was mad to authorities from a motel on Eighth St. South to inform that that he found a 9mm gun in the parking lot.
Move Along: At 6:03 p.m. a complaint was made regarding a light blue truck sitting at a stop sign for 15 minutes on Gaynor Ave. — the driver had been on the phone the entire time.
Suspicious Activity: At 1:19 a.m. a call was made from an employee from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. to report that a woman at the pumps looked ‘frantic’ — soon after, two suspicious looking men showed up and started to pace the parking lot.
BB Vandal: At 2:20 a.m. a complaint was made from the 1100 block of 16th St. South to report that someone had shot out the windows of his van with a BB gun.
