Police & Sheriff Calls for July 23 & 24

Vandalism: At 1:44 a.m. police were notified of vandalism in the parking lot of a business located on the 2600 block of Eighth St. South.
Panhandling: A call was made inn the evening hours to report that there had been multiple panhandlers by a business on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South.
Get Off My Lawn: At 8:27 p.m. a call was made from the 1900 block of Fifth St. South regarding a neighbor who had been continually threatening and yelling obscenities at children.
Free WiFi: At 9:21 p.m. dispatch was notified of a man wearing a black hoodie going around and checking the windows of a business on the 900 block of W. Grand Ave. He was checking for free WiFi.

Check Thief: At 1:36 p.m. a call was made to report the theft of checks from a bank on the 400 block of Eighth St. South.
Erratic and/or Drunk: A call was made late into the evening to report a red Taurus swerving all over the road by the roundabout on Gaynor Ave. The driver was expected to be intoxicated.
Prowler Alert: At 9:14 p.m. police were notified of a man who tried to grab a woman’s hand and put it on his privates. This happened in the area of Second St. South on the 500 block.
