Police & Sheriff Calls for July 30 & 31

Outdoor Lodging: At 10:44 a.m. a call was made to dispatch from a hotel on the 3400 block of Eighth St. South to report multiple people who have been sleeping under hotel picnic tables.
Quiet Stroll: At 8:40 p.m. police were notified of a man walking into traffic on Eighth St. South, and soon after laid in the grass outside of a gas station on the 4600 block.
Wrong Way: At 11:05 p.m. a complaint was made regarding a driver on W. Grand Ave. who had been driving on the wrong side of the road.
Excellent Driver: A call was made late from the area of Boles St. and 28th St. South to report that a vehicle had struck numerous other vehicles on route to hitting a telephone pole.
July 31
New Tenants: At 3:22 p.m. a report was made by a landlord from a house on the 300 block of 13th Ave. South concerning two individuals who he claims had been smoking meth inside the residence.
Potential Pyros: At 9:20 p.m. authorities were notified of text messages received from a family member to report that children as young as 7-years-old were allegedly unsupervised and attempting to start fires.
Late Night Nap: At 11:55 p.m. a call was made outside of a gas station on the 200 block of Ninth St. South to report that a woman had been laying on the sidewalk.
No Solicitation: A call was made late from the 100 block of Second St. North to report that a woman on a bike had been allegedly trying to sell meth, as well as “herself”.
