"A Path Forward" City Aquatics Meeting Set for Aug. 22

Posted

City Times Staff

On Monday, Aug. 22, the city will be holding a special common council meeting to discuss and possibly decide the future of aquatics in Wisconsin Rapids at city hall.

"the city is committed to restoring the public access to aquatics our residentshave come to expect." --this, according to a news release on the city's website. The options given last month in a special aquatics presentation were between an indoor facility built by the YMCA, or an outdoor facility built by Burbach Aquatics.

Residents can still share their opinions and concerns through various means. They can send comments and questions to aquatics@wirapids.org, contact the Mayor at zvruwink@wirapids.org, or contact their local alderperson.
