Adams County has first COVID case

FRIENDSHIP – The Adams County Health & Human Services Division of Public Health has confirmed its first COVID-19 case.

On April 1, late in the afternoon, the department posted the following statement, “Today we confirmed our first lab positive COVID-19 case. The individual is hospitalized and is being monitored. We are following up with anyone the individual might have had contact with. For confidentiality reasons, we will not be releasing any identifying information about the individual.”

No other information was released.
