WISCONSIN RAPIDS – This year the Adams County Home & Community Educators will offer two scholarships to Adams County residents for post-secondary education. The $750.00 Villa McMahon scholarship is offered to any Adams County resident who has achieved Junior status at a four-year university or second year status at a technical college while maintaining a 3.0 GPA and completed 25 hours of community service. This scholarship is named in honor of Villa McMahon for her many contributions as an HCE educator in the Grand Marsh Harmony Homemakers.
The $500.00 scholarship is offered to graduating seniors living in Adams County and attending any area high school. They must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA, completed at least 25 hours of community service and have been accepted at a university or technical college. This scholarship is given in honor of Edie Felts-Podoll for her many years of work as the Adams County UW-Extension Family Living Educator.

Hard copies may be obtained at the UW-Extension Office, Adams County Community Center, 569 N. Cedar Street, Adams, WI. High School guidance counselors have also been sent copies of the application.
