Alexa Memorial Scholarship sponsors education for animal lovers

CENTRAL WISCONSIN – A new scholarship is opening up for individuals pursuing post-secondary education, accredited trainings and therapeutic or service-based work dedicated to animal welfare and advocacy. The Alexa Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Tethered by Grace, Inc., invites both traditional students and community members pursuing specialized training in animal care, behavior, training and/or animal advocacy to apply.
The Alexa Memorial Scholarship will award two $500 scholarships to select individuals who meet the application criteria: one to traditional students and one to a community member seeking immediate skill-building or training, rather than a degree or certification. Applications are available at cwbernedoodles.com and are due by May 15.
