Alexander House to showcase 56 artists in nature-themed exhibition

PORT EDWARDS – The Alexander House is getting ready to open its latest exhibit, a juried multimedia show featuring work from 56 Wisconsin and Minnesota artists.
“Nature’s Wonders” opens with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Alexander House, 1131 Wisconsin River Drive, Port Edwards.
The exhibition features artwork inspired by landscapes, wildlife and ecosystems, with artists presenting varied creative interpretations of the nature theme.
Juror Bonnie Dhein said selecting pieces for the show proved challenging.
“This was difficult to do, everyone deserves recognition for the courage and passion to create and enter work for public viewing,” Dhein said.
