Annual Allen Braund blood drive is Jan 4

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Blood Center of Wisconsin and friends and family of Allen Braund will host their annual memorial blood drive in memory of Allen Braund on Jan. 4.

“The family has held the blood drive the first Saturday in January every year since Allen's passing,” said Mary Braund. “He died from leukemia but during his treatments received many blood and platelet transfusions. This is our way of giving back.”

The drive will be held Jan. 4, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Elks Club, 430 West Jackson Street, Wisconsin Rapids.
