Aqua Skiers Take Fourth in Sunday's Ski Show

WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- In the first year in Division I competition, the Aqua Skiers finished a respectable fourth place in Sunday's show.

With 1,440 points, the team finished ahead of Muskego, Beaverland, Chetek, Badgerland, and The Webfooters. The usual suspects took the top three spots, with the Twin Cities Aquanuts taking third, the nationally renown Janesville Rock Aqua Jays taking second, and the Mad-City Ski Team taking home first place.

Janesville native Madi Hageman finished first in swivel competition, while Aqua Skiers up-and-coming star Molly Schaefer finished fourth overall out of 14. You can check out her bio and background here. Aqua Skier Pam Ward took seventh place in swivel competition.

The Aqua Skiers took home awards for Highest Scoring Comedy Act, Most Original Act, and show director Jason Sachs took home the Most Valuable Player Jake Lukes Memorial Award.
