Arts Council unveils season lineup

Tickets on sale for 49th season

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – From Willie Nelson’s country classics to Big Band Era swing, the Arts Council of South Wood County is serving up a musical feast that spans generations for its landmark 49th season.
Individual ticket sales begin Monday for the seven-show lineup that will take audiences on a journey from Nashville honky-tonks to New York street corners and back to America’s golden age of swing.
The monthly performances run from October through April. The 2025-2026 season schedule includes:
• Oct. 9: Willie & Family Live, a tribute to Willie Nelson featuring all his greatest hits
• Nov. 6: The Doo Wop Project: Echoes of the Street, featuring “Doowopified” harmonies from stoops, subways and street corners

• Dec. 4: Sidewalk Prophets Great Big Family Christmas, a Christmas celebration for the entire family
• Jan. 22: Wingra Wind Quintet, a quintet ensemble from the Mead Witter School of Music known for artistic excellence
• Feb. 12: Forever Young: Your Life | Your Music, a multi-award-winning theatrical production with powerhouse vocals, dynamic choreography and one sensational true story
• March 12: Frankie Moreno: Rock-N-Roll Remastered, featuring the chart-topping singer, songwriter and showman with infectious energy and world-class musicianship
• April 12: Jukebox Saturday Night, managed by Glenn Miller Productions, presenting the best hits of the Big Band Era
Tickets can be purchased by calling 715-424-2787 or visiting the Arts Council office at 1040 8th St. South, Suite 101, Wisconsin Rapids. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Groups of 10 or more who purchase tickets in one transaction will receive a 15% discount when buying directly through the Arts Council.
