Call for Letters Home

In coming editions, our publication will begin to feature “Letters Home” as a way to honor past and current local military veterans.

As our nation entered its wars and conflicts, many brave individuals have sacrificed their lives and time with their loved ones to serve.

We felt it important to recognize the thoughts of many of our brave local veterans by publishing some of their letters home, along with photos.

Each of the pages will be sponsored by a local business. The series will run monthly and will feature a new veteran’s writings, and photos and a bio when possible.

We encourage readers to submit meaningful letters written by veterans while serving overseas in any American conflict to Kris Leonhardt at kleonhardt@mmclocal.com or 1120 Lincoln Street, Wisconsin Rapids, for future consideration.
