Childcaring to offer informational sessions

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Childcaring is offering free informational sessions for Wisconsin Rapids area residents interested in providing child care.

Sessions will be held July 25 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital, Demulling A Conference Room,

112 E. Fifth Ave., Antigo, 6-8 p.m., register by July 18; and Aug. 1 at the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum, 1100 Main St., Stevens Point, 5:30-7:30 p.m., register by July 25.

Sessions will include information about the benefits of becoming a regulated provider, as well as the classes and training needed to get started. Participants are encouraged to bring questions. Attendees may also be eligible for a start-up grant.
