Community event aims to support addiction recovery efforts

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A community event designed to support individuals on their journey to recovery will take place Friday, June 20, at Robinson Park on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids.

Helping Hand to Recovery will run 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1941 Apricot St., and will feature door prizes, food and beverages. Organizers aim to foster healing, promote well-being and provide information on local recovery resources.

The Wood County Adult Drug Treatment Court and Three Bridges Recovery will be present to offer details about their services and support programs.

The event is sponsored by the Ho-Chunk Nation Healing to Wellness Court.
