Community Hero Honored by Heating Company

Guelzow Heating & Air Conditioning in Wisconsin Rapids and Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems teamed up to honor a local community hero.

The organizations announcedthat Kellie Garski, from Wisconsin Rapids, has been named the 2016 Bryant Community Hero winner from the area.

This hero is one who does “whatever it takes” to make a positive impact in their community. This person demonstrates how a person with passion and determination can use their time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others.

Garski received a new Bryant high efficiency gas furnace for her home, which was installed by Guelzow Heating & Air Conditioning in late December. Kellie was nominated by several people in her community, including Sherry Berry, of Nekoosa.

“I nominate Kellie Garski as a hero because she loves our community," said Berry. "She gives to give and expects nothing in return. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does."

Garski has been involved in many community projects and events, including the Kiwanis Club, Pumpkinfest, Neighborhood Table, Youth Outdoors Day, Cranberry Blossomfest, Coats for Kids, and many others.

'She inspires me to be a better person, and reminds me it is the best feeling in the world to be able to give, and that we all have time in our busy lives to help one another.”
