Cranberry Blossom Festival brings tart and tasty fun to Wisconsin Rapids Area

Posted

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Area will host the 21st Annual Cranberry Blossom Festival June 18–21. Join in celebrating the area’s unique cranberry heritage and “blossoming” community at 18 unique and fun-filled events for the whole family.
Known for commemorating the blossom season where cranberries begin, the four-day festival invites all to enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of the Wisconsin Rapids Area. Traditional favorites include the Cinema under the Stars, concerts, Dairy Berry Breakfast, Material Girls Quilt Show, Downtown on Tap, kids fishing, an Arts and Crafts Vendor Fair, Berry Fest Raffle and the parade. New this year, check out the Ho-Chunk Cultural Event at McMillan Memorial Library or the fast-paced fun at a Rafters game.
The Grand Rapids Lions Club (GRLC) is hosting the carnival, including rides, games, food and fun for the whole family every day. Admission is free. Parking is $5 per vehicle (cash only) and proceeds benefit local Boy Scouts of America. Also, at the GRLC kids can learn to fish with gear provided Saturday morning. In the evening, the Grand Rapids Lions Music Fest will rock with Richrath Project REO with special guest Jerry Unger with The Fog. Parking will be $10 per vehicle (cash only) after 4:30 p.m. There is something for everyone at the Cranberry Blossom Festival, where community comes together.
