Cultural Center presents Mixed Media Artists Invitational

WISCONSIN RAPIDS -- Central Wisconsin Cultural Center will host Meet the Artisans/Opening Night for the Mixed Media Artists Invitational on Friday, Jan. 20, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center, 2651 8th St. S, Wisconsin Rapids. Admission is free. The event will also wish long-time board President Steve Kipfer a happy retirement from CWCC.

The Mixed Media Artists Invitational features artists Kae Jasiek, Ben Jennings, Aaron Nicholsen, Mary Olson, Laurie Tenpas, Jeanne Weymouth, and Mark Ziegahn. Each piece uses more than one medium or material. Viewers will enjoy the colors, textures, and creativity in all pieces.

The exhibit will run through Feb. 23, and will be available for viewing during CWCC business hours, which are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. or by appointment.

Central Wisconsin Cultural Center’s arts-focused services and programs foster creative experiences through classes, art exhibits, music, and music lessons as vital elements of individual and community wellbeing.
