WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A train derailment occurred in the morning hours of Feb. 4 in the city of Wisconsin Rapids. The derailment is affecting the 17^th Avenue North train track intersection between the west side compost and Bonow Avenue. Wisconsin Rapids Police are suggesting that you avoid this area.

There are no injuries reported or threats to public health.
