WISCONSIN RAPIDS –Small Business Saturday – or Shop Small – is about more than shopping at small businesses. It's a cause that helps support local economies and promotes vibrant, diverse communities. This is a nationwide movement, fueled by shoppers, business owners, and organizers who come together to celebrate the community, and will be recognized locally by the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.

Held the day after Black Friday, Small Business Saturday is dedicated to supporting the millions of small businesses that create jobs and boost the economy. For businesses, it is a great opportunity to gain new customers, grow sales, and carry momentum into the holiday shopping season. While shopping is the main focus of this holiday, it is not a necessary component. People who want to acknowledge this day can do so by promoting it on social media or recommending their favorite small business to friends and family.
