Learn about Medicare at SHP seminars

MARSHFIELD – Individuals who will soon be eligible for Medicare are invited to learn how Medicare plans offered by Security Health Plan (SHP) of Wisconsin, Inc., can help them afford and receive the best quality health care and services.

Free Medicare seminars will be held in July and August to provide important information for individuals who will soon turn 65 years of age or have become eligible for Medicare.

At the seminars, SHP representatives will discuss the advantages of each plan type and explain when people are allowed to enroll, what is and is not covered, plan premiums, and out-of-pocket costs.

Area seminars will be held July 23 at Hotel Marshfield,2700 S. Central Ave., Marshfield, at 10 a.m.,1 p.m., and 5 p.m.; July 27 at Marshfield Clinic Wisconsin Rapids Center, 220 24th Street S., at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Aug. 3 at Marshfield Clinic Marshfield Center, East Wing, 1001 N. Oak Ave., at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Aug. 14 at Hotel Mead,451 E. Grand Ave.; Wisconsin Rapids, at 10 a.m.,1 p.m., and 5 p.m.
