“Imagine That” theme guides year of service and community celebration

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Steve Livernash of Wisconsin Rapids has been elected Potentate of Zor Shriners, Madison, Wis. He will serve as the organization’s chief executive officer in 2026.
A longtime Wisconsin Rapids resident, Livernash previously served on the Shriners International Executive Committee for Marketing and Membership, where he helped advance engagement, structure and visibility at the international level. His election reflects a strong commitment to the Shrine and to community service.
The theme for 2026, “Imagine That” focuses on turning vision into action, encouraging innovation, collaboration and renewed energy across Shrine units statewide. Zor Shriners will expand public outreach and support for Shriners Children’s, while strengthening ties with local communities.
This year also marks two historic milestones: the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 100th anniversary of Shriners Children’s Chicago. Events and fundraising initiatives will incorporate these celebrations throughout the year.
Among planned activities is a statewide presence at the Vesper Days Parade on July 18, where Zor Shrine parade units from across Wisconsin will entertain and join local floats in a celebration of tradition, patriotism, and community fun.

First Lady Koral Livernash is leading her “Pet Therapy Project,” supporting Shriners Children’s Twin Cities. A collectible commemorative coin is available to help fund the comfort initiative.
Steve and Koral also organize the annual Zor Shriners Feztival of Trees in Wisconsin Rapids, held at the Masonic Center, which benefits the local Shriners (Funsters) Unit and FOCUS food pantry — a free community event that brings families together during the holiday season.
“‘Imagine That’ isn’t just a theme,” Livernash said. “It’s an invitation for all to dream bigger, serve with purpose and turn great ideas into reality, right here in our communities.”
