The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center (CWCC) will have a “Local Vision 2016” exhibit opening Friday, Mar. 11.
This years theme is “Hidden and revealed”. “I enjoy seeing the wide variety of work that comes in,” said executive director Tracey Rice. “I am excited about what the public will choose for best of show.” Ribbons for Best of Show and Honorable Mention will be decided by public vote. Local artists were encouraged to submit works in any media including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, glass, photography, ceramics, and recorded performances in music, vocal or dance.
There is no charge to view exhibits or visit the Cultural Center. Tickets for special events and concerts can be purchased at the door.The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is located at 240 Johnson St. in Wisconsin Rapids.
