Man found dead in Port Edwards

PORT EDWARDS – A man has been found dead in Port Edwards.

On March 18 around 7:30 p.m., Wood County Sheriff's Deputies, along with EMS personnel, were dispatched to a residence on the 900 block of Chak Ha Chee Lane in the town of Port Edwards.

There, deputies found a 32-year-old man that was determined to be deceased.

A joint investigation between the Sheriff’s Department and Ho-Chunk Nation Police Department is ongoing.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Nekoosa Ambulance Service and Port Edwards First Responders.

A name has not yet been released.
