Marshfield Medical achieves platinum status for heart care excellence

MARSHFIELD – Two Marshfield Medical Center hospitals have received the highest level of national recognition for heart attack care from the American College of Cardiology.
Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield and Marshfield Medical Center-Weston both earned the National Cardiovascular Data Registry Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Awards for 2025.
The awards honor hospitals that demonstrate sustained, high-level performance in delivering quality care to heart attack patients, the hospital said in a news release. The Marshfield hospital has now earned platinum status for five consecutive years.
The hospitals are among only 323 nationwide to receive this recognition.
