Memorial Planned for Janke

A memorial is being planned for the Thomas Janke.

Janke is the former chairman of Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce. He passed away in Wausau on Dec. 29.

The memorial is scheduled for Jan. 21 at the chamber's annual meeting.

"Tom touched so many people, businesses and organizations in our community," a news release from the chamber read. "[We] would like to include pictures, thoughts about Tom, and comments from anyone wishing to share them."

The chamber is asking anyone who knew Janke to send any reflections, pictures, etc. to president@wisconsinrapidchamber.com.
