For the City Times
It is the season of high school and college basketball tournaments, and Mid-State Technical College (Mid-State) is celebrating with what college officials are calling Mid-State Madness.
That celebration is of great benefit to future students, as the college is waiving both the $30 application fee and the $20 Accuplacer fee during the month of March. To apply to Mid-State, complete the online application at www.mstc.edu\apply.
There is nothing you need to do to receive the application fee waiver, as it is automatically applied to every application in the month of March. If you need assistance with your application or are unable to complete an application online, visit the main office of a Mid-State location near you.
To qualify for the Accuplacer fee waiver, you must first complete your application. Once submitted, simply call Mid-State at 888-575-MSTC and ask to schedule your free Accuplacer.
“With Mid-State Madness, you can save money toward the hands-on, real-world education you need for an in-demand career,” said Mid-State Director of Marketing and Communications Karl Easttorp.
In keeping with the March basketball theme, Easttorp invites everyone to make Mid-State their winning pick and score a slam dunk for their future. To learn more about Mid-State Madness, visit www.mstc.edu/madness.
