Posted

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Olio Arts and Music Center announces its annual fundraising event, 2026 Art on Tap, taking place Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at 2651 8th St. S., Wisconsin Rapids.
Art on Tap is an evening celebrating local creativity, music, art and community, featuring free homebrew tasting and a variety of art and creative experiences. The event is open to guests ages 21 and older. A suggested donation of $10 includes an Art on Tap wristband, which provides access to creative activities throughout the evening. No donation is required to attend or sample the homebrews.
More than 50 handmade ceramic vessels featured
New this year, more than 50 one-of-a-kind ceramic drinking vessels are being created especially for Art on Tap by talented local ceramic artists and makers. Guests will be able to explore a variety of handmade mugs, tumblers, steins and other unique creations. These pieces will be available for purchase during the event, while several extra-special pieces will be featured in a silent auction throughout the evening. Every purchase and winning bid will directly support Olio Arts and Music Center and its continued growth.
In addition to the ceramic showcase, Art on Tap will feature:

• Free homebrew tasting by Rapids River Mash Masters
• A cash bar
• Live music by Cool Current
• An unveiling of Olio’s expansion plans
• Art and creative experiences
• A Bead Bar
• Silent auction opportunities
• Quick Portraits by Greg Luedtke
Explore “The Essence of Wood as Material and Muse”
While attending Art on Tap, guests are also invited to experience Olio’s current exhibition, “The Essence of Wood as Material and Muse.” The exhibition features more than 23 artists and over 70 pieces, exploring the many ways artists incorporate wood into their creative practices.
The exhibition brings together artists who carve, construct, paint, assemble and experiment with wood in diverse ways, revealing how a familiar material can become a sculpture, surface, support or storytelling element. “The Essence of Wood as Material and Muse” is open to the public during the following hours:
• Tuesday and Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
