Paint Night Fundraiser to Support United Way

WISCONSIN RAPIDS– It’s time to get your creative juices flowing.

Join United Way of Inner Wisconsin and “I Heart Canvas” in creating a Christmas time painting featuring Jolly Old Saint Nick that you can use to decorate your home for the holidays, or give away as a gift.

Becky Winter from “I Heart Canvas” will lead participants step by step in creating a 16” x 20” wrapped canvas painting.

“My goal is to inspire creativity,” said Winter. “Beginners are always welcome and I believe that anyone – if they are willing to try – can create a beautiful painting.”

The United Way Paint Night will be heldNov. 28, 2017at the Wisconsin Rapids Elk’s Lodge starting at6:00 p.m.Cost is $40 per person, and includes one drink of choice (food available for purchase).

There are only 30 spots total and seats are filling up fast. The United Way asks participants to register and pay prior to Nov. 28.

The Wisconsin Rapids Elk’s Lodge is located at430 W. Jackson Street, Wisconsin Rapids. The event should last approximately 2-3 hours. For more information, contact the United Way office at715-421-0390.
